Looking for a ServiceTitan alternative

Most people searching this are not unhappy with the software. They are a ten truck company being sold a platform built for a hundred truck company, and they cannot find out what it costs without a sales call.

Is Pinstripe Fleet a ServiceTitan alternative?

For a small or mid sized service company, yes. Pinstripe Fleet covers customers, jobs, scheduling and dispatch, crew time, vehicles, equipment, invoices, card payments, and a customer portal, with an iPhone app for the field. For a large contractor running call centers, franchise reporting, and deep inventory, ServiceTitan does things this does not. Where another company's prices appear below, they are copied from that company's own pricing page and stamped with the date we read it. Follow the link before you decide, because prices move and ours is the only one we control.

What actually differs?

Four differences that decide this one, starting with the one people notice before they ever see a demo.

Can you find out what it costs?

ServiceTitan lists three tiers named Starter, Essentials, and The Works, and each one ends in a Request Pricing button rather than a number. Their page describes per technician pricing designed to fit your business. Ours is published: a flat plan price, a published seat price, and a seat cap, with no call required.

  • Transparent pricing

How big is the company it was built for?

ServiceTitan is built for larger contractors and sells the depth that comes with that. If you have a call center, franchise rollups, and a parts warehouse, that depth is the reason to buy it. If you have six trucks, you are paying for a shape you do not have yet.

Who gets to see money?

Ask any vendor whether hiding prices from a crew member is a screen setting or a real boundary. Here, if someone is not allowed to see money, the prices and totals are never sent to their device at all, so there is nothing on the phone to find.

  • Role based access

How long until you are running?

Setup here is self serve and takes an afternoon for a small company. Larger platforms are normally implemented with a paid onboarding project. Neither is wrong, but they are different commitments, and the implementation is the part that surprises people.

Where ServiceTitan is the better buy

ServiceTitan is built for contractors much larger than our seat cap allows, and it sells capabilities we have not built: call booking and dispatch centers, multi location and franchise reporting, deep parts inventory, and consumer financing presented at the point of sale. If your company runs on any of those, it is the better product for you and no amount of subscription saving changes that.

Who should stay with ServiceTitan?

If you need a call booking center, franchise or multi location rollup reporting, deep parts inventory, or financing offered at the kitchen table, stay where you are. Those are real capabilities we have not built, and switching to save on a subscription is a bad trade when it costs you a workflow you depend on.

Questions buyers ask us

Why does ServiceTitan not publish prices?

Their pricing page lists three tiers and asks you to request pricing for each, and describes the cost as per technician pricing designed to fit your business. That is a normal model for software sold to larger companies. It does mean you cannot compare it to anything without a sales conversation first.

Is this cheaper than ServiceTitan?

We cannot honestly say, because they do not publish a number to compare against. What we can say is our own: a flat monthly plan with five seats included, a published price for each seat after that, and a seat cap, all visible on the pricing page without talking to anyone.

What do I give up by switching?

Route optimization with live GPS, parts inventory, accounting sync, call center tooling, and consumer financing are not built here. If your business runs on one of those today, this is not the right move, and we would rather say so before onboarding than during it.

Does it work for a company with fifteen people?

Yes, up to the seat cap of fifteen. Beyond that you are into an Enterprise conversation with us, which is a real conversation about whether we fit rather than a pricing tier we are trying to move you into.
